SULPHUR

The sulphur is a chemical element of atomic number 16 and symbol S (of the Latin Sulphurium). It is one not abundant and insipid metal. The sulphur is in native form in volcanic regions and in his limited forms forming sulphurs and sulfonales.
It is used principally as fertilizer but also in the manufacture of gunpowder, laxatives, matches and insecticides.
It has a yellowish color, is soft, fragile, light, detaches a typical smell of egg rotted on having combined with hydrogen and burns with flame of blue color, detaching dioxide of sulphur.
The sulphur is known from the Antiquity, and already the Egyptians were using to purify the temples.
