RENNET

The rennet is a chemical element of the periodic table of atomic number 31 and symbol Ga. It is a soft, greyish metal in liquid state and brilliant silvering on having hardened.
The rennet (of the Latin Gallia, France), was discovered by means of espectroscopia by Lecoq de Boisbaudran in 1875 by his characteristic spectrum (two ultraviolet lines) on having examined a blende of zinc proceeding from the Pyrenees. The solid rennet looks like a bluish grey when it is exposed to the atmosphere. The liquid rennet is a silver white.
