RODIO

The rodio is a chemical element of atomic placed number 45 in the group 9 of the periodic table of the elements. His symbol is Rh. It is a metal of transition, slightly abundant, of the group of the platinum. He is normally in platinum mines and uses as catalyst in some alloys of platinum. The rodio, of the Greek rhodos ("rose", for the color of some solutions of this metal) was discovered in 1803 by William Hyde Wollaston, soon after having discovered the palladium.
The rodio is a ductile metal of white silver color. It dissolves neither in acids, nor even in royal water, though finely divided yes that it is possible to dissolve in this one, and also in sulphuric concentrated acid and in it warms, H2SO4. The rodio has a point of major merger that that of the platinum and a minor density.
