ACTINIUM

The actinium is a chemical element of symbol Ac and atomic number 89, belonging to the group 3 of the periodic table of the elements. It is a radioactive soft metal that shines in the darkness, of silver color. It is very scanty and is formed for the transformation of the uranium and the radius.
The actinium is extremely radioactive and, bearing in mind his potential effects on the health, is so dangerous as the plutonium. The ingestion, even in small quantities, can cause very serious hurts. The actinium (from the Greek ακτις, ακτινoς, luminous beam), it was discovered in 1899 by the French chemist André-Louis Debierne that obtained it of the pechblenda.
