PEGASSUS

CONSTELLATION

Pegasus (the winged horse) is a constellation of the north, which receives his(her, your) name of the mythological pegaso. It are one of 88 modern constellations and one of the 48 initially described by Ptolemy.

MYTHOLOGY
Pegasus was born from the blood of Medusa when Perseus cut off his head. Is usually depicted either black or white and has two wings that can fly. A feature of the flight is that when performed, she moves her legs as if she was actually running through the air.

Pegasus has an appearance forming (training) a horse feeding, with a great area squared as his(her, your) body. In the antiquity (antique) there were different versions on whom it was the horse. A winged horse, Pegasus appears in the Greek mythology, but as the figure that forms (trains) the constellation it (he,she) does not have wings, Eratóstenes was considering this identification as slightly credibly.
